Natural birth is the goal of most parents and also of medical professionals. A birth cannot be more natural than vertical. When standing, the pelvic floor can relax ideally and the mother-to-be can counteract the pain with compensatory movements. The static ceiling hook from FEBROMED is a simple and safe solution to install a support rope in a delivery room. It can be firmly anchored in a ceiling or, if necessary, in a false ceiling at the desired location and provides a firm hold for the textile rope. It carries heavy loads, but for safety reasons we prescribe a maximum load of 175 kilograms.

Changing the rope is ingeniously simple. It does not have to be knotted to the ceiling bracket, but is attached to a stainless steel ring. This in turn is latched into the ceiling hook by means of a sturdy carabiner. A decorative bonnet or cover plate ensures a clean look on the ceiling. The FEBROMED static hook is thus a stable and economical solution for birthing rooms, whether in a birth centre or in a hospital.
