The ave 2 birthing bed is suitable for all phases of birth, i.e. from labour through birth to the recovery and postpartum phase. This bed supports natural birth – the expectant mother has a lot of comfort and enough space for active support from her partner. Likewise, it offers optimal working conditions for the obstetric team.
The height of the ave 2 can be continuously adjusted electrically. The lowest position is a height of 600 millimetres and thus extremely comfortable for getting into the bed for childbirth. With a lying surface of 980 by 2132 millimetres and a permissible load of 240 kilograms, the bed is prepared for all eventualities. The expectant mother can use the entire surface and make the birth as comfortable as possible.
The lying surface can be designed with a maximum of variability. The head section can be raised or lowered, the foot section can be lowered or raised. The integrated handles and leg supports can be swung out without much effort if necessary. Assembly or disassembly is no longer necessary. Protruding locking screws are nowhere to be found. Birth is possible in all positions, be it four-footed, lying on the side, sitting or half-sitting. Of course, with one or two quick grips, it is also possible to convert to the classic lithotomy position. Perfect accessibility for the medical staff is guaranteed at all times, and the partner can also be actively involved in the birth.
